Finally my new fine art photography website is live.
After months of research, hours spent in development, sleepless nights, lost lunches, inappropriate snacks and some extra pounds, I’m ready to announce it.
The Photo Spot website launch ends a long development cycle of my dream of selling prints to collectors and decoration projects for residential and business clients.
To come up with this final version of the website, I had to negotiate with print studios here in Brazil and United States, set images prices as affordable as possible based on market standards and organize an e-commerce system that was both safe and easy to use.
I think I succeed. But that’s the website clients that will tell me.
Currently, there are only six galleries online. I did not want to overwhelm visitors with too many visual references.
The editing process was very painful, as always. In general, photographers tend to get emotionally attached to their images, making it difficult to choose what should or should not be displayed.
But the beauty of this new project is that I’ve found a way to enjoy the process more freely, sharing my personal work online.
Like the website, this blog is also new. My goal is to post news about new galleries, give tips on using photos for decor projects, shared interviews with architects and interior designers, make promotions and surveys, conduct fine art market discussions as well as maintain a contact channel for customers and friends.
I would love to know your opinion, favorable or not.
Leave a comment below, sign up for the newslleter and share the news in your social networks. Soon, I will get in touch for the first Photo Spot promotion.
